"Washington Squares"

I figured out how to do it!  It has been a while since I uploaded anything on a blog. . . it's good to teach an old brain new or newly remembered tricks.

Here's the quilt on its way to Sweden for a very special person and her new baby-to-be.  I decided to name quilts for songs, so this "Granny Squares" quilt is named Washington Squares.  (You have to be pretty old to remember that song.)  The back is pieced with lots of dots and some children's print from Ikea.  I'm getting happier all the time with my skills in free motion quilting as you can see in the close up.

Hope it will snuggle well.
